A weekend in my life @ NYU Prague.

Welcome back to another post about my life!

Over a month ago I was thrown into local life in Prague. I got busy with school, searching for the cheapest grocery stores and deciding the quickest routes to and from the gym. To localize as much and as quickly as possible was a good thing. But because of this, I really hadn't experienced the "tourist" experience in Prague. So since I was home in Prague for the whole weekend, I wanted to spend my time doing the tourist things I had heard so much about.

As tourists, my friends and I visited the Castle, the Charles Bridge, bought a trdelník (I told you this post was coming) (also, this treat is what we like to call a 'turtleneck'), did allllll the tourist stuff.

But to make my weekend even more exciting, I did something I thought I never would...

I got a tattoo!?

Everyone always says "studying abroad changed me". I thought this was such an exaggeration. But for the past month I have actually tried to do the same. For those of you who know me well, you are probably well aware of my control issues, borderline OCD, and literal inability to chill out. So it has been my number one mission this semester to ~let loose~ a little, get out of my comfort zone, do things I never would have a few months ago. In order to really force myself into this new spontaneity, I did one of the most permanent things imaginable, go figure! I am now #tatted. I thought it would be good for my psyche to not overthink and just do it. t didn't really hurt, until the next day when my brain was pounding due to my regrets about the decision (or lack thereof) I made. Kidding! All jokes aside, I'm actually really happy I did it! I'm happy that I'm living my life this semester a little less restricted. I'm finally exploring, eating (trdelník), and doing the things I want to do without hesitation! Well, there's still a little hesitation but like I got a tattoo so I'm feelin' motivated.
